LCTV: Experts deliver their tips for NRL Round 3

NOT even our expert tipsters could have predicted the crazy start to the 2018 season, with all the upsets ruining any chances of tipping the round.

They’ve loaded up for another crack in round three though.

Follow Phil Rothfield, Dean Ritchie, Michael Carayannis, Matty Logue, Paul Crawley, Nick Campton, Fatima Kdouh, David Riccio, Nick Walshaw, James Phelps and Paul Kent throughout the season for advice and tips.

Have they got it right for round three or are some of them way off the mark?

ROUND 3 FIXTURES: Storm v Cowboys, Bulldogs v Panthers, Tigers v Broncos, Raiders v Warriors, Rabbitohs v Sea Eagles, Eels v Sharks, Titans v Dragons, Roosters v Knights.

Nick Campton's top tips: Score so far: 8
Cowboys
Panthers
Broncos
Warriors
Eagles
Eels
Dragons
Roosters
No brainer: Penrith to run the poor old Dogs ragged.
Upset: The Raiders upset me most weeks, so I'm tipping the Warriors.
Coin toss: Too many. Storm-Cowboys, Broncos-Tigers, Parra-Sharks and Roosters-Knights could all go either way.
Fatima Kdouh's top tips: Score so far: 8
Cowboys
Panthers
Broncos
Raiders
Eagles
Eels
Dragons
Roosters
No brainer: Manly hammered the Eels and will dish out some more pain against the Bunnies.
Upset: Eels to bounce back against the Sharks.
Coin toss: Raiders? Warriors? Who knows! Anything can (and probably will) happen in this match. My heart says Raiders. My head says Warriors.
Michael Carayannis's top tips: Score so far: 7
Storm
Panthers
Broncos
Raiders
Eagles
Sharks
Dragons
Roosters
No brainer: The Dragons to continue their undefeated win by beating the hapless Titans.
Upset: Have picked all the favourites but there are a heap of games which could go either way. The winless Eels and Sharks go head to head while the Raiders host the high flying Warriors.
Coin toss: The defending premiers Melbourne to just beat the Cowboys. Both teams are last-start losers and despite a shock loss to the Tigers, I except the Storm to bounce back.
Matt Logue's top tips: Score so far: 7
Storm
Panthers
Broncos
Raiders
Eagles
Eels
Dragons
Roosters
No brainer: Sea Eagles to build on last week's huge win.
Upset: Can the Knights and their former Roosters stars, led by Mitchell Pearce and Shaun Kenny-Dowall, bring down the Chooks and their big-money recruits? So many great match storylines and match-ups.
Coin toss: Raiders v Warriors.
David Riccio's top tips: Score so far: 7
Storm
Bulldogs
Tigers
Raiders
Eagles
Sharks
Dragons
Roosters
No brainer: Sea Eagles - I have serious concerns over the Bunnies' kicking game at the moment.
Upset: Bulldogs. Have the pack to match Penrith, who were poor against Souths.
Coin toss: Tigers. Capable of stinging the Broncos, who if not for a goal post would be winless.
James Phelps's top tips: Score so far: 7
Cowboys
Bulldogs
Tigers
Warriors
Eagles
Sharks
Dragons
Roosters
No brainer: Sharks to beat the Eels. Surely?
Upset: Jordan McLean to lead his new team to a win over his old club.
Coin toss: Bulldogs to beat the Panthers in a tight one. Or I am never tipping the Dogs again?
Paul Crawley's top tips: Score so far: 6
Storm
Panthers
Broncos
Raiders
Eagles
Eels
Dragons
Roosters
No brainer: Like we’ve seen so far, there is no certainty.
Upset: I've gone all favourites.
Coin toss: Eels-Sharks.
Paul Kent's top tips: Score so far: 6
Storm
Bulldogs
Tigers
Raiders
Eagles
Eels
Dragons
Roosters
Dean Ritchie's top tips: Score so far: 5
Storm
Panthers
Broncos
Raiders
Eagles
Sharks
Dragons
Roosters
No brainer: Roosters looked to have gelled and will have too much class for the Knights - even with the large contingent of ex-Chooks at Newcastle fired up for the clash.
Upset: Haven't picked one but the Tigers could well continue their giant-killing run against the Broncos at Campbelltown.
Coin toss: Eels v Sharks. Hard to tell who's going worse.
Nick Walshaw's top tips: Score so far: 5
Storm
Panthers
Broncos
Warriors
Eagles
Eels
Dragons
Roosters
No brainer: Roosters against the Knights at home, into Latrell Mitchell first tryscorer.
Upset: Backing the Warriors away? It usually ends in tears but we’re having a crack.
Coin toss: Eels v Sharks ... with the Slipperies home in a tight one.
Phil Rothfield's top tips: Score so far: 5
Cowboys
Panthers
Tigers
Warriors
Eagles
Sharks
Dragons
Roosters
No brainer: The Sea Eagles destroyed the Eels last week. Souths aren't much better.
Upset: The Sharks go to ANZ Stadium as underdogs. They should net their first win.
Coin toss: The Grand Final replay will be an arm-wrestle.
