OUR tipsters have predicted most of the weekend playing out the same way, but two have gone against the grain and backed a Broncos boilover against Melbourne. Will the pair be rewarded?

David Riccio slipped out to a slender one-win lead in a tough bye weekend for our tipsters while James Phelps improved to fourth, leapfrogging Nick Walshaw, with the best round of three out of four.

Can he keep it up?

No brainer: The Cowboys to beat the Eels as Parramatta struggle to produce anything which resembles a first grade team.
Upset: The Tigers could bounce back and beat the Sharks.
Coin toss: Canberra having enjoyed the bye could sneak up on a Panthers side who have a host of players backing up post-Origin for the first time.
