NRLW star Millie Elliott has claimed her premiership ring was stolen from the Newcastle home she shares with husband and fellow rugby league player Adam Elliott.
Elliott took to Instagram to reveal the news that the premiership ring she won just last Sunday had gone missing.
“If you work at a pawnshop in Newy and someone comes in with a number eight premiership ring to swap for cash please let me know,” Elliott wrote.
“Because it’s probably not theirs and they came into my house at night and stole it.”
Elliott starred for the Roosters in their 32-28 win against the Sharks to claim the title. It was Elliott’s third premiership having won competitions at Newcastle and Brisbane.
Elliott is in camp on the Gold Coast as part of the Jillaroos squad ahead of their first Test against the PNG Orchids in Brisbane on Friday night.
The rings are worth $10,000 but are easily identifiable given they have each player’s jersey number engraved. Recent Immortal Ron Coote helped design the rings.
