NRL transfer market: Blake Fergsuson joins English club Leigh Centurions
Former NRL star Blake Ferguson has been given a career lifeline in a deal which will have him featuring alongside a player banned for his vaccination status.

Blake Ferguson will resurrect his rugby league career in England after being thrown a lifeline.
Ferguson will link up with Leigh Centurions alongside controversial player Josh Asiata — who was axed from the Bulldogs after failing to receive a Covid-19 vaccination.
Leigh play in the competition below the Super League. His career seemed over after he his Japanese rugby union deal with NEC Green Rockets fell over following his arrest for allegations of cocaine possession.
The former NSW and Australian winger had hoped to return to the NRL but there was little appetite.
Leigh is coached by ex-Rooster Adrian Lam.
“Blake is considered one of the best outside back players in Australia in his prime and it’s massive news for our club. “It’s a big one,” Lam said.
“I’ve coached him at the Kangaroos and he’s not a player you won’t notice.”
