Roosters Comment: A late withdrawal in round nine Brett Morris returns but at the expense of Ryan Hall as opposed to last week’s five-try hero Matt Ikuvalu. Keep an eye on teams as finalised an hour prior to kick-off as Brett Morris is reportedly still struggling with his groin injury. Skipper Boyd Cordner is back and will take over his customary left edge which will see Angus Crichton slide over to the right and Mitch Aubusson go to the interchange bench.

Raiders comment: The injury to star hooker Josh Hodgson sees Siliva Havili earn a start in the number nine jersey and former Newcastle Knights SG Ball Player of the Year Tom Starling come onto the bench to make just his fourth NRL appearance. Bailey Simonsson (injured) is replaced by Jordan Rapana on the wing and Curtis Scott called on to the interchange bench. Joseph Tapine is named to start at lock which sees Kai O’Donnell go to the bench.

Storm comment: Cameron Munster has been named to start at five-eighth for the Storm and barring any late training mishaps he is expected to play against the Titans. Prop Jesse Bromwich (knee) is out and he will be replaced up front by Brandon Smith. Representative second-rower Felise Kaufusi who was a late withdrawal from the side last week returns. Paul Momirovskis slides from centre to wing with Brenko Lee to start at centre. Chris Lewis is the fresh face on the bench and last week’s late withdrawal Marion Seve joins him there.

Titans c omment: Big news for popular KFC SuperCoach NRL cheapie Beau Fermor named to start in the second row while Bryce Cartwright has been dropped. It is a more conventional centre pairing this week with Brian Kelly and Phillip Sami recalled.

Wests Tigers c omment: Coach Michael Maguire has swung the selection axe and dropped his highly paid halfback Luke Brooks dropped to the interchange bench. Brooks’ demotion sees a total change to the Tigers’ starting halves pairing with five-eighth Josh Reynolds (suspended) replaced by Benji Marshall and Billy Walters to wear the number seven jersey. A late withdrawal last week Tommy Talau comes back into the side on the wing. Russell Packer wins another start replacing Oliver Clark at prop. Sam McIntyre is named on the bench with Chris McQueen.

Broncos c omment: The injury to skipper Alex Glenn (knee) sees Ben Te’o brought into the starting squad to start on Brisbane’s left edge. Xavier Coates and Tesi Niu have both been named despite carrying injuries. Coates wore a red non-contact bib at training while Niu copped a knock at training. Herbie Farnworth has also been named but is another carrying a knock. Joe Ofahengaue makes his return to the team via the interchange bench.

Dragons comment: Jordan Pereira (suspended) is replaced on the left wing by Jason Saab. Otherwise it is a very settled Dragons team riding high after last week’s big win over Manly.

Bulldogs c omment: Reimis Smith (suspended) is out and his place in the centres will be taken by Kerrod Holland. There’s a shuffle at the back with Nick Meaney moving from wing to fullback, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak moving to wing. Jeremy-Marshall-King named to start at hooker in a swap with Sione Katoa. Lachlan Lewis is recalled to partner Kieran Foran in the halves with Brandon Wakeham making way. And...coach Dean Pay is out too replaced by interim clipboard holder Steve Georgallis.

Rabbitohs c omment: Fullback Latrell Mitchell (suspension) and centre Campbell Graham (facial fracture) are huge omissions. Alex Johnston takes Latrell’s fullback spot and Dane Gagai moves to centre in place of Graham. Young guns Corey Allan and debutant Jaxson Paulo are the new faces on the wings.

Knights c omment: Connor Watson (ankle) and Mitch Barnett (neck) both return from injury with Tex Hoy and Brodie Jones making way. Daniel Saifiti (knee) is replaced in the starting side by twin brother Jacob.

Sea Eagles comment: Taniela Paseka earns a recall to the starting side with Morgan Boyle (groin) ruled out. Corey Waddell joins the bench.

Eels comment: No changes. Junior Paulo (back) and Stefano Utoikamanu (COVID breach) have been included and will be monitored. Mitchell Moses (calf) remains sidelined.

Warriors c omment: Kodi Nikorima (concussion) returns at five-eighth with Chanel Harris-Tavita dropping out. Star early-season cheapie Eliesa Katoa (ankle) returns in the back row pushing Jack Murchie to reserves.

Sharks c omment: Huge KFC SuperCoach news with star cheapie Toby Rudolf to start at lock and Jack Williams dropped. Andrew Fifita (hamstring) is also out with Scott Sorensen and Connor Tracey the new faces on the bench. Ronaldo Mulitalo (knee) returns on the wing in place of Nene Macdonald.

Panthers c omment: Last week’s four-try debutant Charlie Staines is out due to a COVID breach. Brent Naden moves from centre to wing with Dean Whare returning from injury in the No. 3.

Cowboy c omment: Valentine Holmes (ankle) is out for 8-10 weeks. He is replaced on the wing by Justin O’Neill and KFC SuperCoach cheapie Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow now has an extended crack at fullback. Backrower Mitch Dunn is a left-field replacement for Scott Drinkwater (ankle) at five-eighth. Daejarn Asi debuts on the bench with Peter Hola out.
