NRL finals draw for week one

THE top eight is finalised and week one of the NRL finals awaits — check out the kick-off times, venues, and TV broadcast schedule.

NRL FINALS DRAW: Check out the kick-off times, venues, and TV broadcast schedule for week one of the 2017 NRL finals.

The 2017 NRL finals kick-off on Friday night, when the second-placed Roosters host the third-placed Broncos at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium.

Minor premiers Melbourne host the other qualifying final against the fourth-placed Eels, playing in their first final series 2009.

QUALIFYING FINAL - 7.55pm Friday at Allianz Stadium

ROOSTERS (2) V BRONCOS (3)

The Roosters were far from impressive in their win over the Gold Coast however Brisbane will be without skipper Darius Boyd (hamstring), Korbin Sims (broken arm) and Andrew McCullough (ACL).

QUALIFYING FINAL - 4.10pm Saturday at AAMI Park

STORM (1) V EELS (4)

Melbourne have proven themselves the most dominant club side in recent times while skipper Cameron Smith will pass Darren Lockyer’s all-time record for most games. The Eels have been inconsistent but are capable of anything.

ELIMINATION FINAL - 7.40pm Saturday at Allianz Stadium

SEA EAGLES (6) V PANTHERS (7)

Manly will have the mental edge after racking up a 28-12 win over Penrith on Saturday while the future of skipper Penrith Matt Moylan is set to swirl all week and shapes as a distraction for the Panthers.

ELIMINATION FINAL - 4.10pm Sunday at Allianz Stadium

SHARKS (5) V COWBOYS (8)

The injury-hit Cowboys had to can Mad Monday plans after Canterbury upset St George Illawarra while the Sharks have been far from convincing but will get Jack Bird and Wade Graham back.
