Manly’s problems off the field continue with Kristie Fulton – the daughter of late Immortal Bob – blindsided by her shock sacking on Friday morning.

The bloodshed at Manly has continued with Fulton now joining former coach Des Hasler out the door.

The Hasler and Fulton family have been at loggerheads in recent months but now two of the club’s most influential figures are gone.

Fulton has been instrumental in overseeing Manly’s elite pathways systems and has a strong relationship with a host of Manly’s rising stars. But she is now the latest off-field casualty joining Hasler and fellow football staff Chad Randall, Michael Monaghan, Rubin Ruzicka and Don Singe out the door.

The club is undergoing a massive revamp under new chief executive Tony Mestrov.

It is understood Fulton was caught off guard by the move on Friday morning when she was told of her axing and asked to leave the club’s Brookvale headquarters immediately. News Corp has learnt a human resources investigation was part of Manly’s decision to cut ties with the pathways coordinator.

Her brother Scott is expected to remain as the club’s head of recruitment.

The move against Kristie comes just a week after Hasler was formally axed as coach. It is a bombshell decision considering the Fulton family’s life long association at the club. The Hasler/Fulton dynamic has been contentious at the Sea Eagles in recent times.

Kristie was first let go by the club back in 2017 by then chief executive Tim Cleary before being brought back to the Sea Eagles. Cleary left the job less than two months later after falling foul of the Fulton family.

Aside from Scott remaining at the club, the Sea Eagles are also working on keeping rising NRL player Zac Fulton at Manly.

They are in the process of finalising a two-year contract for Fulton – who is the son of Brett. Zac Fulton made his debut during the disastrous pride jersey fiasco.

Brett and Scott Fulton also played first grade at the club.

Manly are still trying to finalise Hasler’s official exit from the club. The parties are locked in negotiations regarding a pay out as Hasler eyes seven figures to sign off on his departure. Manly have offered about $500,000 for the final year of his deal.

Once that situation has been worked out, Manly will formally announce Anthony Seibold as their new coach. That deal is expected to be for the next three seasons.

Seibold has approached Shane Flanagan and Jim Dymock to join his coaching staff.
