In a major blow to South Sydney’s premiership hopes, star halfback Adam Reynolds has been ruled out of football for four to six weeks with torn ligaments in his thumb.
And in a further blow, lock Cameron Murray is facing three weeks on the sideline with a lower leg injury that may even require surgery.
The injuries are a shocking setback for the club as they prepare for a tough month of football against Storm, Cronulla, Panthers and the Parramatta Eels.
