NRL 2021 casualty ward: Bulldogs lose Christian Crichton to serious knee injury

Just days after securing the signature of one of the NRL’s best wingers Josh Addo-Carr, the Bulldogs have suffered a huge loss for the 2021 season.

Canterbury have been dealt a shattering pre-season blow with winger Christian Crichton set to miss the 2021 campaign with a serious knee injury.

Crichton was injured at training on Thursday, with fears he has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.

Crichton played eight games for the Bulldogs in 2020, scoring two tries.

His absence would hurt Canterbury’s outside back depth, following the off-season departures of Reimis Smith (Melbourne) and Marcelo Montoya (Warriors).
