It is not politically correct to criticise women’s sport but here goes … the female version of the Rugby League World Cup has been disappointing. The gap between Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the countries is too great for a genuine World Cup. That’s not to say the final between the Jillaroos and Kiwis won’t be a ripping game.
