Mark Levy will continue the Continuous Call Team legacy led by founding member Ray Hadley by staying on as host of the popular rugby league show next season.
However, 2GB bosses will need to make a change to the show on Sunday through the NRL season by finding a new host with Levy set to earn his only day off.
As revealed on Tuesday, Levy will take over from the soon-to-be retired Hadley on 2GB talkback in 2025.
Hadley, who turned 70 in September, made the announcement live on air, revealing long-time understudy Levy had landed the plum job.
Levy will host the morning shift on Monday to Friday.
It can also be revealed that Levy will continue to host the Continuous Call Team on Friday nights, on Saturday, while also calling the 5.30pm NRL fixture.
Levy will have Sundays off.
This is the same schedule that Hadley maintained for decades during his celebrated career.
“The Continuous Call Team is a huge part of footy fans’ lives and I’ll be working hard to continue the fun next season,’’ Levy said.
“As I said to Ray this morning, work-ethic is something you can’t question in regards to this huge opportunity that I’ve gratefully received.’’
