THE Roosters have set themselves up for the future by re-signing Latrell Mitchell, Joseph Manu and Nat Butcher until the end of the 2020 season.
All three have progressed through the lower grades at the club with Mitchell and Manu earning regular first-grade berths over the last two seasons.
Mitchell in particular has blossomed into a fan favourite and one of the most exciting prospects in rugby league.
Butcher captained the club to the 2016 under-20s title, a team which also contained the light-stepping Manu.

“I’m very proud to represent the Roosters,” Mitchell said.
“The club means a lot to me, and I’m learning so much from Robbo (Trent Robinson), the coaches and senior players around me, so I’m glad that I’ll continue to be part of the team here.”
Recruitment manager Adam Hartigan said the club was pleased to have secured the trio and build a bedrock for future seasons.
“In their own right, Latrell, Joey and Nat are outstanding young men,” he said.
“Their work ethic precedes them and they are terrific contributors to the Roosters both on and off the field.”
