BEAU Ryan has once again proved why he is one of rugby league’s nice guys.
The former Wests Tigers and Sharks back responded to an “urgent request” from Jillaroo and women’s rugby sevens star Mahalia Murphy to help boost her dying friend’s spirits.
In the post, Murphy says her friend - identified as Kia Lettice, 22, who suffers from ovarian cancer - “has roughly four hours to live”.

The Facebook post reads: URGENT REQUEST!!! Any assistance to boost my friend up? She is currently in Prince of Wales hospital and has roughly 4hours to live as she’s fighting cancer. She wants Greg Inglis or beau Ryan To come see her. If everyone can share this or get in contact for me this would be much appreciated.
The post - which has been shared over 500 times - reached Ryan and his response was immediate.

Hundreds of Facebook users have sent their best wishes and condolences to Murphy’s friend.
Ryan made it in time to see Murphy’s friend, with friends and families saying the Footy Show star’s effect on Ms Lettice was immediate.
Ms Lettice rallied with Ryan by her side and hopes to meet Inglis when the star returns from Queensland.
