EDDIE Hayson continues to deny his involvement in alleged NRL match fixing but revealed he had offered free sex to players at a brothel he owned.

Hayson, who operated the brothel Stilettos, said players, judges and police officers had received free sex.

The notorious gambler also said he had saved close friend Kieran Foran’s life.

“Kieran went through some difficult times this year,” said Hayson.

“If I wasn’t in his life, he probably wouldn’t be alive. I was just there to talk to him. I don’t want to talk too much about Kieran today.

“He’s on the road to recovery now. If I need to stay out of his life, I’m happy to do that.

“I have never been approached by the NRL or police to talk about match fixing.

“I have never fixed a match in my life. I have never bribed a player or attempted to interfere in any way with the sport. They are hurtful to my family and me. Yes, I like a beer and a punt. It would be un-Australian not to. I have been open and honest from the beginning.”

Hayson claimed allegations which centre around three Manly matches from 2015 and 2016 were created by rival figures and told to NSW Police.
