Round two of the Suncorp Super Netball season has come and gone and Code Sports experts have selected their team of the week. Thunderbirds continue to headline, click to have your say!

The Adelaide Thunderbirds have dominated nominations for the team of the week after outpacing the Sunshine Coast Lightning in every position on the court as they maintained their early unbeaten run.

The Thunderbirds won two places in Code Sports’ team of the week - with the Vixens’ Diamonds squad member Hannah Mundy just edging new Diamond Georgie Horjus out of the team after the T-Birds got the points over Aussie captain Liz Watson in their showdown on the Sunshine Coast.

The Thunderbirds’ defensive end is regarded as the best in the competition and it showed this round, with the trio of Latanya Wilson, Matilda Garrett and Shamera Sterling-Humphrey earning Code team of the week honours for their dominant performance against the Lightning.

Elsewhere, Shimona Jok shone for the Mavericks despite Melbourne going down in a tight game against the NSW Swifts; Helen Housby stood up in a clutch performance to get it done for the Swifts; Hannah Mundy turned in a game-changing showing for the Vixens and Paige Hadley was as reliable as usual in centre.
