NO major sporting competition in Australia is producing closer games week in and week out than Super Netball with half the round 10 games decided by a single goal.
Oddly, the other two matches of the round on Sunday were both 10-goal affairs.
The big winners on the weekend were Fever, the Giants and Vixens and their success is reflected on the league ladder.

With just four games remaining in the regular season, everything is now on the line for teams chasing a final four spot.

The Giants made life difficult for themselves at times by letting the gutsy Swifts back within a goal of them in this NSW derby.
But despite this lapse, the Giants never really looked like there were going to lose.
The win consolidated their position as the No.2 side in Super Netball while making the Swifts bid for the top four a seemingly impossible task.

Magpies 58 defeated Thunderbirds 48
What has been a forgettable season almost became even worse when the Magpies found themselves trailing the Thunderbirds in their round 10 game.
Trailing the Thunderbirds in both the first and second periods, the Magpies fought their way back from a two-goal halftime deficit to take the match by 10 with Caitlin Thwaites a standout under the net.

The Vixens produced one of the best finishes of the year to show they have what it takes to go all the way in Super Netball this season.
Despite being down by three goals with just three seconds on the clock, the Vixens still managed to win this game against at a Firebirds side left wondering what might have been.
The Vixens showed the type of composure that wins major titles in this one-goal thriller.

The West Coast Fever proved themselves one of the most resilient teams in the competition with this tough victory against a side fighting desperately to make the top four.
Despite some superb defence from the defending champions, Fever stood strong to take this vital clash by a goal.
Jhaniele Fowler, as always, starred under the net with 50 goals in a physical clash.
