So who have been the best players from your club over the last four to five rounds? Revealed here

Will Tsimpikas (Sherwood)

Affectionately known by his teammates as Willy T, Will Tsimpikas is the Magpies’ pocket rocket.

A smart ball player, good user and goal kicker, Willy T has continued to perform well over the last month as a small forward.

“He always keeps his feet and rarely loses a contest while always executing his role to his best,’’ said coach Damian Haber. “He is a much-loved teammate and passionate member of the group.’’

Billy Turner-Fry (Sherwood)

Turner-Fry has shown his versatility and capability to perform various roles for the team over the last month in response to various forced selection changes. With a strong contested mark overhead, and a smart reader of the game behind the ball, Turner-Fry has been one of Sherwood’s most consistent performers in recent weeks.

“His ability to also go through the middle and draw on his basketball vertical leap and palm the footy to advantage has been a major contributor to the team’s performance,’’ said coach Brian Haber.

Finn Mahoney (Sherwood)

A dogged competitor with a never-say-die attitude, Finn ‘Piglet’ Mahoney has been one of Sherwood’s best and most consistent performers this season.

“We are very fortunate to have this young man in our group and we appreciate him and everything he brings to the group,’’ praised Sherwood coach Brian Haber.

He is a contested player, a rugged competitor who plays the game with a wry smile. “You know that having Finn on your team can only mean fear for the opposition,’’ coach Haber said.

MacLeod is a great competitor in the ruck who has the ability to follow up the play as a midfielder. He is an athletic type who gets around the field.

Cam Plackett (Wilston Grange)

A local junior, as a back or forward Placket has been a key to the Grange improvement. He is reliable down back and creative up forward and is a great asset to the squad.

Riley Stevens and Brodie Kovarik (Labrador)

In the midfield he’s been one of Labrador’s best each game, giving his absolute all and going hard at the footy. Teammate Kovarik has added some speed through the midfield and been strong off halfback

Oliver Garrett (Labrador)

Garrett has been strong down back, intercepting the ball and providing some offence. He has made great strides in the last four to five weeks.

Kayden Newton (Labrador)

Newton has continued his strong form up forward, providing a strong option in attack and making an impact in the ruck or down back as well.

A young veteran of the side, Rochie is starting to find strong form in the midfield. He is a player who just gets his hand on the ball and provides the first handball around stoppages.

Reilly Sherlock-Clark (Labrador)

Labrador’s better defender all year, the key backman has shut down opposing key forwards and is rarely beaten in aerial contests.

Hugo Howard (Broadbeach)

The young gun made his Colts debut earlier this month and has provided great tackling pressure and intensity around the ball.

Alessandro Gargiso (Broadbeach)

Having broken into the Colts team after several matches in under-17s, Gargiso has developed his maturity and leadership with some great glimpses through the midfield.

Jesse Wenzell (Broadbeach)

A reliable player who has switched between the forward line and backline this season, Wenzell is a tall key position player who is equally dominant at either end of the ground.

Cooke has been consistent on both sides of the ball.
