More than 600 of the state’s best junior netballers are set to descend on Frankston for the 2025 Netball Victoria State Titles.
It will be the first time in 21 years the south-east Melbourne suburb has held the tournament, with players from all corners of the state to face off at Jubilee Park Stadium from March 8-10.
KommunityTV will exclusively live stream four courts across all three days of what is Netball Victoria’s largest competition.
Matches from all divisions – 15&U and 17&U Female, 17&U Male, All Abilities and Open – are set to feature on the broadcast.
Netball Victoria performance competitions manager Stacey O’Neill said the state titles were an important part of the pathway for athletes, coaches and umpires.
“Trials, selections and training have been held in all regions across the state over the last few months so a lot of preparation goes into the event,” O’Neill said.
“Not only for the participants, but Netball Victoria manages the competition for 61 teams playing on 12 courts.
“The State Titles is our largest competition, held as the opening pathway event for the year.”
Teams from across Victoria including Mildura, Warrnambool, Geelong, Shepparton, Bairnsdale, Leongatha and suburban Melbourne will compete in the annual round-robin style tournament.
After previously hosting in 1990 and 2004, the titles return to Frankston at a new venue with the state of the art Jubilee Park Stadium set to stage the event for the first time.
Live stream action begins from 11.50am on Saturday, March 8 before culminating in grand finals on Sunday, March 10.
