The extreme deluge across Sydney’s west – and the prediction of more to come – has forced the NSWRL to abandon the entire round of junior representative fixtures.
The Daily Telegraph was scheduled to bring you all of the action live from Kirkham Oval in Camden as Western Suburbs Magpies battled the North Sydney Bears in three grades.

But with fields hard to come by, and the possibility of a major weather event on the horizon, the league made the early call to cancel the round.
“Due to the ongoing wet weather, the predicted forecast and NSW Incident Alerts round 5 for the below competitions has been abandoned and will not be replayed,” a NSWRL spokesperson said.
No competition points will be allocated for Round 5.
The NSWRL has scheduled a competition bye in the Tarsha Gale, Harold Matts and SG Ball Cup competitions next weekend in which they plan to play catch up games that were washed out last weekend.

The Bulldogs and Dragons lead the way in the SG Ball Cup and Harold Matts competitions respectively, while the undefeated Roosters Indigenous Academy sits on top of the Tarsha Gale Cup at the halfway point of the season.
