Western Australia have got one back over Victoria Silver with their Under-16 team taking a 1-0 win on Day 1 of the FA National Youth Championships in Wollongong.
The game looked to be heading to a nil-all result before Christian Farfan managed to find the back of the net for a narrow victory.
It follows another 1-0 result between the two teams, with Victoria’s Under-15 team taking the win earlier.
It was an evenly-matched battle with neither side truly gaining an advantage.
Victoria’s sole goal was from a brilliant chip from Xavier Medway over their goalkeeper.
