It was girls day out on Court 6 on Sunday, with some of the big players in SA Metro, Victoria Metro and NSW Country making an appearance. Check out all five games in full REPLAY.

Matilda Neate hit 28 points as Tasmania got their BA U16 Nationals campaign off to a rollicking start with a 93-50 success over Western Australia Country.

Neate, playing in her second U16 national tournament, was afforded plenty to opportunity to shoot by her opposition - and she obliged by hitting 43 per cent from the floor.

Four players reached double figures for the victors, with Kirra Munns and Taryn Lowe both scoring 14 and Elka Huton adding nine rebounds and three assists to her 10-point haul.

Kenzie Du Bois was the top-scorer for WA Country with 14 points.

Meanwhile, four players got into double figures as Victoria Metro started their tournament with a routine 44-point win over Western Australia Metro.

Laura Seiz hit 14 points, Cleo Barbakas 13, Indy Springett 12 and Sophie Richardson 10 as Victoria Metro took control of the match in the second quarter on the back of a 21-9 run.

The girls take over Court 6 at the BA U16 Basketball Nationals on Sunday, with no fewer than seven teams tipping off their campaigns.

Among them are defending champions South Australia Metro, who have to wait to the final game of the day at 6pm to make their first appearance against Western Australia Country.

Led by the likes of Isabelle Daly and Annaleise Elliott, they will again be among the favourites and will be looking to get of to a fast start.

Four of the five games scheduled for Court 4 feature the girls, with WA Country playing twice.

They start off the day at 10am against Tasmania before WA Metro hit the floor to face Madison Ryan and her Victoria Metro teammates at midday.

NSW Country, fresh from their game on Saturday to open the touirnament against Victoria Country, back up to play Northern Territory.

The only boys game scheduled involves the South Australias Metro team up against Northern Territory.
