The gelding has flashed home from near last to place at his last two. Should settle closer and can break through.

The colt is improving with each run. Close second at Muswellbrook last start and can go one better.

RACE 1

Puerto Banus followed a closing third at Muswellbrook at his second start with a solid second to Bartolf at Scone after sitting outside the leader. Delrico wasn’t pushed when runner-up to Mawjood in his Rosehill trial on June 21. Began awkwardly before sitting midfield when seventh to Tarpaulin on debut at Warwick Farm. Will be better for the experience. Thebes raced wide on debut at Wyong before a third to Bartolf at Scone. Continuing to improve.

Bet: Puerto Banus each-way

RACE 2

Komodo Dragon is a first starter by Hellbent. Settled back in the field and worked to the line nicely without pressure when sixth in his Rosehill trial to Wings Of Desire who won at Hawkesbury on Sunday. Comic Culture was ridden along early sit on speed when fifth to Photograph on a heavy track at Scone on debut. Will be better for the run and the blinkers go on. Alfred raced on the rails when fourth in that same race at Scone on debut. Will also be better for the run

Bet: Komodo Dragon each-way

RACE 3

Du Cap was runner-up to the smart Kwyjibo here three starts back before a fourth to Villa Tino. Boxed on for fifth to Linwood at Warwick Farm last start. Spanish Fox was runner-up at his last three starts before a spell. Was OK in winning his Rosehill trial. Lone Force was good in his first campaign including a Second at Nowra and a third at Kembla. Came from back in the field when third to the impressive Yorkshire at Hawkesbury first-up.

Bet: Du Cap each-way

RACE 4

Rampazetto showed improvement from his first run when he finished just behind the placegetters at Hawkesbury before improving again third-up when a neck second to the older Bertie at Muswellbrook. He carries topweight against older horses. Elusive Mission was a handy third to Euromaster here two starts back before a fourth to In Iso at Newcastle. Drawn well and gets a 2kg claim. Jed was held up in the early part of the straight and battled away for fifth to In Iso.

Bet: Rampazetto to win

RACE 5

Lights Of Paradise kicked of her career with a smart all-the-way win from Sunset Panorama on a Soft 6 at Scone. Returned there a month later when third behind Ballinderry Sal on a heavy track after racing keenly early. Back on soft ground and will be better for the run. Odegaard sat just behind the speed to beat Miss Cartel on debut at Hawkesbury back in May. Runner-up has won her next three. Woodlander ran an improved race when second at Newcastle last start.

Bet: Lights Of Paradise to win

RACE 6

Miss Cartel was a close second when resuming over 1300m at Hawkesbury. With improvement from that run, she has been terrific in winning her next three. Drawn well and will give another great sight. Equipage followed a closing first-up win at Hawkesbury with placings behind Lady Boss at Canterbury and the promising Flying Thinker at Scone both on heavy tracks. Buba was good coming from well back third to Zipitalist at Newcastle first-up. Will be strong late again.

RACE 7

Drama Dodger was slow out when fifth to Unstopabull at Warwick Farm last start. Flashed home for a close second to Cosy Corner here first-up. Gold Dust showed nice ability in her first campaign with a debut third and a win at Hawkesbury. Kicked off her latest preparation with a nice second to Nightingale at Hawkesbury on July 11. Eastern Front will be better for his first run.

Bet: Drama Dodger to win

RACE 8

Fioprospero went back to near last from the outside gate and flashed home late for a length third to Ambassadors over this trip at Newcastle last start. Similar performance the start prior when second to Imposant there. Drawn the pole this time. Waterville was just behind the placegetters in her first two runs back from a spell at Newcastle before a third to Wanaruah at Randwick in Saturday metro grade. Scalextrics is in terrific form with wins at his last three.

Bet: Fioprospero to win
