Bjorn Baker galloper down from Sydney. Will make his own luck on speed with only 53kg under Craig Newitt. Has been racing well against some handy horses. Huge chance.

NEXT BEST

ELPHINSTONE (Race 3 No. 2 – $5.50)

Very consistent filly who is racing well against some quality gallopers. Drops to BM78 grade and has drawn well for Luke Currie. Great each-way play.

PORT ALBERT (Race 4 No. 9 – $5)

Has jumped out well for his return to the races. Expect him to sprint sharply fresh and give a huge sight on the speed.

VALUE BET

PEARL RAIN (Race 5 No. 5 – $15)

Nice run at Cranbourne last time. Has had a couple of tick over jump outs since to keep her up to the mark. Currie on board is a big plus.
