Sale and Casterton Sunday tips from News Corp form analyst Brad Waters

A last-start Warrnambool winner could score again at Casterton while a smart mare could continue to build an impressive record in the last race at Sale on Sunday.

Keen to have a bet at both Sale and Casterton on Sunday but it the latter venue where my best comes up in the fourth event.

SALE

ROGUERY (Race 4 No. 6 – $3.90)

Roguery performed well at the jumpouts before a solid first-up effort at Geelong. The rise in trip will be perfect for him second-up.

SUZIDO (Race 8 No. 11 – $3.50)

Suzido handled an interstate trip well when scoring in Adelaide first-up but she’ll be much fitter for what looks a perfect assignment at Sale.

CASTERTON

GRINZINGER BURG (Race 2 No. 7 – $1.90)

Grinzinger Burg has had a few chances but she showed she was close to a win with a good effort behind All Black, who has since won again. She can break through at Casterton.

(BEST BET) PALACE KEYS (Race 4 No. 1 – $4.40)

Palace Key raced on the speed when too good for his rivals at Warrnambool last time out. He’s up in class but should get the perfect trail he needs to win again.

SUN SAMURAI (Race 5 No. 1 – $2.70)

Sun Samurai has been around the mark at his last three runs and ran closer from the slightly better draw at Casterton. No reason he won’t run well again.
