RACE 1: 12.10PM VOBIS GOLD INGOT (1400m)

Small field but a talented line-up in the Caulfield opener. DOM (2) raced on the speed before striding clear to win easily on debut and looks promising. I AM VELVET (5) switches back to turf after winning easily on the synthetic first-up and won on soft ground last time in. DETROIT CITY (1) scored comfortably on debut and could measure up to this. KALIMNA VIEWS (6) ran on well first-up and looks suited at 1400m.

SUGGESTED BET: Dom to win.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Dom $3 – $2.70.

RACE 2: 12.45PM MRC CHAIRMAN’S CLUB HANDICAP (1200m)

Another two-year-old race with several chances but COMANCHE MISS (10) has improved since her sound debut, impressing in jumpouts leading up to this. BAND OF BROTHERS (3) improved with race experience at Bendigo and will be fitter again. NDOLA (4) won well on the synthetic on debut and has drawn well here. ALDOLFITO (1) did a good job to win down the straight at Flemington on debut and will be improved.

SUGGESTED BET: Comanche Miss to win.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Waiting For Time $13 – $7.

RACE 3: 1.20PM TOBIN BROTHERS CELEBRATING LIVES HANDICAP (2400m)

BLUESTONE (2) did it tough from a wide gate but proved too strong over 2200m at Bendigo, indicating the 2400m will be perfect for him now. PHATS (1) made a solid Australian debut over 2500m at Flemington and won’t mind a bit of rain. CAPTAIN ELECTRIC (5) should have finished much closer at Flemington last Saturday and rising in trip would suit. PURE GRUNT (4) chased well over 2000m at Caulfield and should see out the 2400m.

SUGGESTED BET: Quinella Phats (1) and Bluestone (2).

TAB MARKET MOVER: Captain Electric $4 – $3.40.

RACE 4: 1.55PM VOBIS GOLD STAYERS (2400m)

Interesting mix of promising and experienced stayers. THE DEVIL IN HER (11) chased well when up to 2400m at Sandown and was scratched from a race on Wednesday for this. GIFT OF ORATORY (8) steps up in class but he’s showing staying promise. FERAGO (2) gave too much start at Flemington last Saturday, but this will be much easier. MATRON BULLWINKEL (10) is on trial at this trip but is racing well.

SUGGESTED BET: The Devil In Her to win.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Matron Bullwinkel $3.20 – $2.70.

RACE 5: 2.30PM STOW STORAGE SOLUTIONS HANDICAP (1100m)

Happy to back AMOURSIRRA (7) after the filly showed plenty of talent last time in while her jumpouts leading up to this have been most impressive. KUNDALINI (6) is talented and should find easier than some of her previous assignments in Sydney. SLEDDING (11) steps up from maiden class but she impressed at Bendigo despite resuming from a long spell. HERBERT PARK (5) is racing in great heart this time in and loves wet ground.

SUGGESTED BET: Amoursirra to win.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Sledding $21 – $9.

RACE 6: 3.10PM SENET GAMBLING LAW EXPERTS HANDICAP (1200m)

Tricky race but HARRY GOT STYLES (10) could provide a bit of value for punters after a promising autumn campaign and a pair of impressive jumpouts. BRACARDE (11) impressed when breaking through at Geelong and could measure up. STEEL CITY (2) has improved in her last two runs this time in and could be ready to fire. VALOIS (8) is back in trip and can improve with only 53kg after a claim.

SUGGESTED BET: Harry Got Styles each-way.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Piastri $14 – $7.50.

Recommendation will chase a repeat of his outstanding Monash Stakes win when he steps up to 1200m in the Bletchingly Stakes. Picture: Racing Photos via Getty Images

RACE 7: 3.50PM GROUP 3 RACE-TECH BLETCHINGLY STAKES (1200m)

RECOMMENDATION (2) was outstanding when scoring by seven lengths in the Monash Stakes and will be better suited at 1200m. MARBLE NINE (5) fought hard to score in three-year-old company and should have every chance in this. SEMILLION (1) is a talented sprinter that should again perform honestly. MRS CHRISSIE (6) tried hard in the Monash Stakes and could fill a placing again.

SUGGESTED BET: Trifecta 2/1, 5, 6/1, 5, 6.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Recommendation $1.60 – $1.50

RACE 8: 4.25PM SPORTSBET RACE REPLAYS HANDICAP (1600m)

JIMMY THE BEAR (2) backs up after winning the Mildura Cup in strong fashion last Friday and should again have every chance. DUKE DE SESSA (1) worked home OK first-up and has had another jumpout since. GREEN FLY (7) will give a start but is racing well and is one of the each-way chances. LOUNGE BAR RUBI (8) was solid in the Winter Championship Final and races well at Caulfield.

SUGGESTED BET: Jimmy The Bear to win.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Duke De Sessa $11 – $7.50.

RACE 9: 4.55PM SPORTSBET FEED HANDICAP (1400m)

THE OPEN (6) can end the day on a high for punters after another strong win at Sandown last time out. ELOUYOU (15) was a game winner in Sydney and will again be hard to run down. BAROQUE ROAD (7) was OK at Flemington last Saturday and will be better suited over 1400m now. REGAL POM (11) wasn’t far away at big odds first-up and could measure up.

SUGGESTED BET: The Open to win.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Elouyou $3.50 – $2.90.
