Herald Sun and Racenet form analyst Brad Waters looks at Friday’s Cranbourne meeting.

BEST BET

JAYKAYANN (Race 6 No. 2 – $3.80)

Jaykayann closed solidly after giving a big start at Sandown first-up. She’s a second-up winner and the extra trip will suit.

NEXT BEST

PEACEFUL PROTEST (Race 4 No. 5 – $3.20)

Peaceful Protest raced on the pace and went down narrowly at Bendigo. He’ll be on the speed again and will be in this for a long way.

UNLIMITED MAGIC (Race 7 No. 6 – $4.20)

Unlimited Magic jumped out well before a good first-up run in tough conditions. She’s drawn well and can improve at Cranbourne.

VALUE BET

BODHISATTVA (Race 5 No. 6 – $12)

Bodhisattva raced consistently before breaking through last start. He could go on with it with the added confidence.

THE JOCKEY

DANIEL STACKHOUSE

Jockey Daniel Stackhouse has a book of six rides at Cranbourne. LITTLE SPARK (Race 1 No. 8 – $6), CANTOLAGO (Race 2 No. 3 – $5.50), RIBBLE VALLEY (Race 3 No. 10 – $21), RACKEMANN (Race 5 No. 2 – $2.60), RIVERINA CYCLONE (Race 6 No. 9 – $14), OUR MALYSHKA (Race 7 No. 5 – $4).
