A New Zealand three-year-old who was dominant at Geelong last start can provide the anchor bet for punters at Mornington on Saturday.
Here are Chris Vernuccio’s best bets for Mornington Cup day.
BEST BET
Race 6 No.5 RIPROAR ($2.80)
New Zealand galloper Riproar was a dominant winner first-up in a BM64 at Geelong and can back-up that effort in a Mornington Guineas with very few chances. He won over 1500m at Bendigo last prep before he was tried over 1800m, and his sole 1600m run was at the end of his preparation.

NEXT BEST
Race 7 No.3 SEA WHAT I SEE ($1.85)
Progressive stayer Sea What I See should make it five in a row and it’s surprising her price is edging towards black figures. She won quite softly last start at Flemington despite being held up in the straight, and should get the perfect run here from barrier six.
Sea What I See and Blake Shinn dominate the Rubaroc Grand Handicap Classic. Four wins in a row, with a bright future â

Race 4 No.3 GALERON ($4.20)
Galeron was beaten a head first-up by the race-fit Arran Bay at Flemington and can turn the tables stepping up to 2000m. The Annabel Neasham import has improvement whereas the favourite is deep into his preparation.
On September 24th, 19 high-class juveniles battled it out in Europe's Richest 2YO Race at the Curragh, with the @cbhills trained GALERON plundering the top prize for owners Gary & Leanne Robinson ð¬ð§
