Miss Galore will be hard to beat in the last race on Saturday at Mornington, while a $12 chance earlier on the card looks a strong each-way play.

Herald Sun form analyst Gilbert Gardiner runs a rule over Saturday’s card at Mornington.
BEST BET
COMMANDO DRIFT (R5 No.12 – $12)
Unbeaten second-up (2-2) and suited by the rise in distance from 1600m to 2000m. Trained on the track and weighted to be in the finish with 53.5kg after Wiremu Pinn’s claim.
NEXT BEST
PRIDE OF SULLIVAN (R1 No.3 – $1.95)
Short enough but and suited by drop back to 1000m. Has speed to burn so crossing from barrier seven should not be a problem.
MISS GALORE (R8 No.3 – $2.30)
Settled off the speed and bolted in first-up at Geelong. Should get a similar run here, behind a genuine tempo, and be strongest late.
VALUE BET
HYDRO STAR (R2 No.8 – $7)
Doesn’t win out of turn, three from 30 starts, but a consistent performer with seven minor placings from past eight starts. Been runner-up the past four starts, deserves another win.
THE JOCKEY
WIREMU PINN
UNDISPUTED (R1 No.7 – $4.6), TATO KEY (R2 No.1 – $23), DUNALLEY (R3 No.3 – $3.20), COMMANDO DRIFT (R5 No.12 – $12) and MISS GALORE (R8 No.3 – $2.30)
