Victorian Jockeys’ Association chief executive Matt Hyland said the latest report from doctors was that Horner was in a stable condition.
Hyland also reported jockey Will Gordon was undergoing an MRI to determine the extent of a shoulder injury he sustained when he fell from Bell Ex One.
Hyland said initial x-rays cleared Gordon of any fractures but the MRI would provide more detail.
