Herald Sun and Racenet form analyst Brad Waters looks at Wednesday’s Sandown Hillside meeting.
BEST BET
THE DEVIL IN HER (Race 4 No.5 – $3.40)
Racing in great heart since blinkers have gone back on and there’s no reason she won’t be thereabouts again on Wednesday.
NEXT BEST
RUN LIKE HELL (Race 5 No.3 – $9.50)
Won her first two starts last time in and her recent jumpouts indicate she can repeat that effort this preparation.
ANGRY SKIES (Race 6 No.1 – $6)
Went down narrowly in Adelaide before another good effort last time out. He drops a touch in class and is hard fit for this.
VALUE BET
BLAZING REBEL (Race 8 No.8 – $14)
Chased well again in another good effort second-up. He’ll be fitter again and expecting him to be running on late again over 1800m.
THE JOCKEY
BLAKE SHINN
With seven rides at Wednesday’s Sandown Hillside meeting, Blake Shinn will take a ton of beating in the jockeys’ challenge. PHOTOGRAPH (Race 1 No.6 – $4.80), SPIRIT OF NURAI (Race 2 No. 8 – $11), KING’S CROSSING (Race 4 No.2 – $5.50), MIGHTY (Race 5 No.6 – $2.70), DUBLIN JOURNAL (Race 6 No.5 – $8), ITHADTOBEZOU (Race 7 No. 14 – $4.80), STAR VEGA (Race 8 No.15 – $10).
