Thronum gelding was too good at his only run in the summer and his recent jumpouts indicate he can stay unbeaten at Pakenham.

MY ZEPHYR (Race 1 No. 5 – $5.50)
Michael Shepherdson-trained filly started at big odds but closed well in tough conditions at Warrnambool on debut. She’ll be better for it and 1200m suits.

BOGA LEGEND (Race 3 No. 1 – $2.50)
Did a good job on an on-pacers’ track first-up and should be harder to beat on better footing this time.

VALUE BET

SIMPATICA (Race 2 No. 9 – $19)
Price/Kent-trained galloper is a big price on debut but has shown enough at the jumpouts to be worth an each-way ticket.
