Flemington has become the unofficial home for Revelare after the emerging talent’s second straight win at headquarters.
Revelare overcame difficulties to score over 2000m at the venue at his last outing before repeating the effort as a $1.85 favourite on Saturday.

Trainer Robert Hickmott said he would give Revelare another outing at Caulfield as he weighs up whether to step up the gelding in trip in coming starts.
“Maybe we’ll have a look at next week for the Australian Cup Prelude rather than going to Caulfield the next week. He’ll tell us,” Hickmott said.
“I’d rather keep him to the big open expanses of Flemington. Cross our fingers that he pulls up well.”
Earlier, Shining Smile completed a hat-trick of stakes wins in the Listed Festival Of Racing Stakes (1000m).
The Lindsay Park-trained Spirit Of Boom colt overhauled plucky Prestige Forever over the concluding stages.
“It was a beautiful ride by Daniel (Stackhouse) to get that little bit of wind protection there,” trainer Ben Hayes said.
“He presented to the middle of the straight and was very strong late. That was a very polished performance and it’s a good effort by the horse to win four in a row.”
Favourite Cavalry Girl, who failed to make an impression, pulled up with a slow recovery and lame left hind leg.
Managing owner Joe O’Neill said Cavalry Girl would head to the paddock for six weeks.

PIVOT City survived a late dive from Empressive Enuff to win the 1200m Benchmark 78 at Flemington.
Trainer Mick Price credited “the ultimate gear change” – a gelding operation – for turning Pivot City around.
“We like our colts but what do you do? We try them and if they’re not genuine, which he was not genuine, he’s been gelded and there you go, there’s the result,” Price said.
That was a close finish to race 4 but Pivot City gets the bob in to win the All-Star Mile Owner Ambassador Trophy âï¸

“Colts are colts aren’t they and they get distracted and they don’t try and we couldn’t fault him but he was just a non-trier.
“He absolutely had his chance but look, that’s only benchmark 78 and I think if we keep him to 1200 (metres) and place him right, we can just inch forward through the grades.”
Empressive Enuff, a $21 outsider, surged late but missed by a nostril.

SCILLATO has plenty to learn but again showed her enormous potential when she stayed unbeaten at Flemington.
Soft wins in the bush led to trainers Lee and Shannon Hope giving the three-year-old a chance in town in the Good Friday Appeal Plate (1100m).

Scillato’s win wasn’t pretty but the $3.20 chance held off the Yulong Investments-owned pair Rich Dottie ($16) and Clean Energy ($3 fav) to score by a head.
“She still does a little bit wrong but racing will make her,” Shannon Hope said.
Caulfield Cup-winning jockey Corey Parish posted his first city win since December 2019 aboard Scillato, drawing Hope’s praise for his ride.
“That was a twelve out of ten ride,” Hope said.
