News Corp form analyst Brad Waters gives his best bets for Sunday’s meeting at Moe and Coleraine.
MOE
HAZARD A GUESS (Race 2 No. 1 – $23)
Hazard A Guess improved nicely at his second run back from a break at Bairnsdale and will be fitter again for that. He’s a good each-way chance at odds.
CEEJAY (Race 7 No. 3 – $6.50)
Ceejay ran on well when not far away on the synthetic last time and went close on the turf two runs back. Expecting another bold showing here.
ELLY DEE (Race 8 No. 5 – $2.70)
Elly Dee has raced well since breaking her maiden in May and was only grabbed late at Bendigo last start. She drops in class and should be tough to run down.
COLERAINE
CADRE DU NOIR (Race 1 No. 1 – $)
Cadre Du Noir rolled forward and weakened when first-up over hurdle at Pakenham. He’s had another hurdle trial since and could improve sharply.
BOMBER’S KISS (Race 8 No. 2 – $4)
Bomber’s Kiss was strong late again when beaten less than a length at Casterton last time. He’s won a couple of 1600m races and will be hard to hold out.
