NEXT BEST

Trialled well before a soft debut win on the synthetic. He’s back to the turf but will be much improved.

AWAPUNI PRINCESS (Race 5 No.1 – $5)
Ran on well in a harder race on this track last time out. She’s back to mares’ grade and expecting another strong effort.

VALUE BET
HEYWOOD (Race 8 No.10 – $14)
Chased home the in-form El Rocko, who won at Caulfield last Saturday, last start at Ballarat. No reason he won’t run well again.
