BEST BET
GOT YOURSELF A GUN (Race 6 No. 1 – $2.80)
Raced on the paced and did a good job again last time. He won’t need to improve much to go one better on Monday.
NEXT BEST
SI SI MILANO (Race 7 No. 6 – $2.30)
Impressed when an easy winner on this track second-up. He’s up in grade but he should measure up at Pakenham.
ELLMAKINIFICO (Race 8 No. 6 – $7)
Ellmaknifico hasn’t had the best of luck in his last couple of runs but can break through stepping up in trip this time.
VALUE BET
BREMEN (Race 1 No. 2 – $34)
Breman rolled forward and wasn’t disgraced at Ballarat last time. He’ll be fitter again for that and could show up at odds.
THE JOCKEY
BLAKE SHINN
The Scobie Breasley Medal-winner has three gun rides at Monday’s Pakenham Synthetic meeting. HIGHLANDS (Race 3 No. 3 – $5.50), GOT YOURSELF A GUN (Race 6 No. 1 – $2.80), SI SI MILANO (Race 7 No. 6 – $2.30).
