Best bets for the second day of the Warrnambool May Carnival

Race 10 No.4 ELECTRIC IMPULSE ($5)

Electric Impulse showed speed and boxed on well at Bendigo first-up and will only be improved. Expecting her to be harder to beat.

NEXT BEST

Race 6 No.5 OUT AND DREAMING ($6.50)

Out And Dreaming went well until fading late in a small field at Pakenham. Expecting him to improve sharply in the Galleywood Hurdle.

Race 8 No.7 FLASH FLOOD ($9.50)

Flash Flood goes well first-up and has a solid record over 1200m. He’s jumped out well and will be around the mark.

VALUE BET

Race 7 No.9 MISS BALVENIE ($14)

The Tom Dabernig-trained mare is a first-up specialist who goes best over 1000m. She went well at the jumpouts and can fire fresh.
