BEST BET
PATRIOT STAR (Race 3 No. 12 – $2.60)
Has shown plenty of ability in her first two runs and Tuesday should be the day she breaks through for a win.
NEXT BEST
HELL OF A TRIP (Race 7 No. 4 – $5)
Racing well and wasn’t far away in a similar race last time. She’ll have the perfect run from the inside draw on Tuesday.
ROCK THE JOINT (Race 8 No. 4 – $4.20)
Got too far back from the awkward gate but chased well when first-up. He’ll race closer from a better gate this time and can improve.
VALUE BET
TORONADO BOOM (Race 1 No. 2 – $19)
Did a lot wrong on debut at Pakenham but has jumped out well since. Blinkers on and Damian Lane heads to Ballarat just to ride him.
THE JOCKEY
JOHN ALLEN
Jockey John Allen has seven rides at Tuesday’s Ballarat Synthetic meeting. RAWABI (Race 1 No. 1 – $6), SAXON BEACH (Race 2 No. 3 – $2.90), SON O’WAR (Race 4 No. 6 – $3.70), RUDHYAR (Race 5 No. 3 – $3.80), TEWKESBURY (Race 6 No. 1 – $2.15), LACEMAKER (Race 7 No. 8 – $16), ROCK THE JOINT (Race 8 No. 4 – $4.20).
