BEST BET
GLOBAL GIFT (Race 7 No.7 – $6)
Global Gift is hard fit and loves heavy tracks. He’ll probably roll to the front and could be extremely difficult to run down.
NEXT BEST
LARRY OF ARABIA (Race 3 No.4 – $4.60)
Boxed on well in heavy ground on debut last time in. Improved well with his second jumpout at Cranbourne and is a chance to post a first-up win.
CORKSCREW (Race 9 No.8 – $5.50)
Corkscrew resumes from a spell with a perfect first-up record. The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr-trained gelding races best at 1200m and his jumpouts leading up to this have been good.
VALUE BET
LAYBUY (Race 8 No.5 – $18)
Laybuy closed well when up to this distance range at Mornington last time out. He’s fitter for three runs this time and goes well on heavy tracks.
THE JOCKEY
ETHAN BROWN
Ethan Brown has four rides at Moe on Friday with all having winning chances. SEMECO (Race 1 No.4 – $3.70), DEMON BLOOD (Race 4 No.6 – $8.50), PERCEPTIVE (Race 5 No.7 – $3.89), EVENING GLORY (Race 9 No.4 – $11).
