KREMENTZ (Race 2 No.5 – $2.10)
Sped across to lead second-up at Sandown and didn’t shirk her task. This is a step back in class yet she still drops half a kilo in the weights. Should be winning today.

NEXT BEST
GOLDEN ESTRELLA (Race 7 No.6 – $2.60)
No luck at Wangaratta last start from an outside draw when caught three-wide without cover. Gets a much kinder run from barrier 3 today.

TORLAAH (Race 6 No.2 – $7)
Tipped out after he was back and wide and never a factor at Sale in May, but looks back on track after two excellent jumpouts at Cranbourne.

VALUE BET
RUSSIAN SUMMER (Race 5 No.18 – $11)
One win from 20 starts doesn’t inspire confidence but his record on the synthetic at Ballarat (2:1-1-0) is excellent and he was unlucky here last start. Can win if he gains a start.
