News Corp form analyst Brad Waters looks at Wednesday’s meeting at Seymour.

BEST BET

SAVEE (Race 2 No.11 – $6.50)

The Danny O’Brien-trained filly has drawn awkwardly but there was a lot to like about her first two runs this time in. She can break through at Seymour.

NEXT BEST

GLOWLIGHT (Race 1 No.7 – $4.20)

Glowlight was outgunned down the straight at Flemington last time but dropping back to 1000m at the provincial will suit. She’ll bounce back.

REAL GUN (Race 7 No.2 – $4.60)

Real Gun wasn’t far away when getting back onto firm footing at Bendigo. Similar conditions would make him hard to hold out again.

VALUE BET

GHIDI (Race 3 No.16 – $15)

Ghidi led and tried hard when up to 1400m at Wangaratta. She’s drawn perfectly for another strong effort at Seymour.

THE JOCKEY

LUKE CURRIE

Jockey Luke Currie has a strong book of six rides at Seymour. MIGRATORY (Race 2 No.5 – $19), GENRICHERO (Race 3 No.4 – $9.50), BOONDOCKS (Race 4 No.6 – $3), TEWKESBURY (Race 6 No.6 – $3.50), SHAMBO (Race 7 No.5 – $4.60), OPTUME (Race 8 No.14 – $8).
