Looks to have come back an improved commodity this prep following encouraging jumpouts and a strong first-up second on the Ballarat Synthetic. Second-up form reads well and will relish the step up in trip.

NEXT BEST
RIVKIN (Race 5 No.2 – $3.70)
Tried hard off a 10-week break when second over 1000m at Bendigo on July 25. Has a terrific record at this trip and on rain-affected going.

LOU LOU’S CHOICE (Race 4 No.6 – $3.50)
Placed four of past five starts and should get a lovely run in behind the pace today. Won’t get a better chance to win a maiden.

VALUE BET
MISS CHEVIOTS (Race 8 No.9 – $21)
Two of her four career wins have come on heavy tracks and will do no work from a cushy draw. Has great each-way hopes and looks decent overs at the $21.
