Herald Sun and Racenet form analyst Brad Waters looks at Tuesday’s Sale meeting.
BEST BET
NEW SOVEREIGN (Race 7 No. 3 – $3.30)
New Sovereign has shown ability in his three runs to date and his racing style will serve him well again at Sale.
NEXT BEST
SUPERVISE (Race 4 No. 8 – $2.60)
Supervise has looked a smart colt at the jumpouts. He’s drawn wide but expecting him to be hard to hold out on debut.
BLACK PEPPERMINT (Race 6 No. 6 – $5)
Black Peppermint steps up from maiden grade to BM64 level but he’s a progressive stayer that could handle the class rise.
VALUE BET
REFRESHING (Race 5 No. 9 – $9)
Refreshing has led and showed plenty of fight to score at her last two runs. She’s up in class and will be tough to run down again.
THE JOCKEY
Jockey Jye McNeil has five rides at Sale on Tuesday. AZEEZLE (Race 4 No. 1 – $5), DESERT STAR (Race 5 No. 7 – $6.50), BIT OF OZ (Race 6 No. 7 – $16), NEW SOVEREIGN (Race 7 No. 3 – $3.30), DO I (Race 8 No. 5 – $8).
