Gun hoop Kayla Crowther scored a treble, while international jockey Manoel Nunes made a statement on his Australian debut at Murray Bridge on Saturday.
Crowther piloted Quite The Lass, Falanghina and Brazen Kingdom to victory on the nine-race card, the latter pair for the Phillip Stokes stable.
“I had some really good rides, especially these couple of horses of Stokes’ from Melbourne, they won really easily and were well placed,” Crowther said.
“Good job to the team back at Pakenham and to the team here (Morphettville) of course – it’s been a good day.”
Crowther produced a brilliant steer aboard Quite The Lass for Victorian trainers David Brideoake and Matt Jenkins, finding the rail from barrier eight and then darting up the inside of the field to score over Set To Prophet.
"Quite The Lass, quite some ride there."

Group 1-winning Brazilian hoop, Nunes, scored a race-to-race double on Saturday’s card, and there was a dose of Nunes’ magic on display.
Consistent gelding Maracourt had been enduring a winless streak, but Nunes found the key to Michael Hickmott-trained galloper, producing a ground-saving ride to score.
Nunes would be in the winner’s stall again shortly after, with an even more impressive steer, piercing a small gap to unleash a race-winning finish in the final 100m aboard the John Macmillan-trained Fox Gem.
“It’s an honour for me to be here and to ride a winner is a plus,” Nunes said post-winning aboard Maracourt.
“So far it’s fantastic, it’s beautiful weather and a lovely place, I’m very happy to be here.”
Nunes – a winner of multiple jockeys’ premierships in Singapore – is strongly considering a permanent move to South Australia, and Saturday’s double may see him eager to return in October, when racing in Singapore comes to an end.

Another landmark victory came earlier in the program, when Hollywood High – formerly trained by Tony and Calvin McEvoy – kicked away for a commanding win in the opening race under Ben Price for Aaron Bain and Ned Taylor.
It was the stable’s first win after moving to their new training base – the iconic Angaston Park.
“It’s very special. I’m a bit choked up. It was our first runner out of Angaston. She’s owned by Wayne (Mitchell), it was his first runner with those colours in this state,” an emotional Bain said post-race.
“A big thanks to him for sending her across from Tony, and a big thank you to Tony as well for sending her across – it’s a special win.”
Smart gelding Klabel continued his great form for Richard and Chantelle Jolly, notching a hat-trick of wins with apprentice Taylor Johnstone in the saddle.
Annihilate ($13 TAB) was the only horse to defy double digit odds on the card, coming from last to score under Teaghan Voorham for Morphettville trainer Chris Bieg.
The Phillip Stokes stable took home training honours for the day, recording a double with Falanghina and Brazen Kingdom.
