It’s a huge spring carnival day of racing around the country on Saturday with the likes of Alligator Blood and Mr Brightside set to clash in the Makybe Diva Stakes.

On Saturday morning, Flemington is rated a Good 4 and the rail is in the true position. There will be moderate NW winds up to 25km/h during the day with a perfect sunny day of 25C forecast.

A Group 1-class field has been assembled for the inaugural running of the $1m 7 Stakes at Randwick while a bunch of Everest hopefuls will clash in The Shorts.

On Saturday morning, Randwick is rated a Good 4. The rail is out 7m from the 1000m to the winning post and 4m the remainder. Wind will not be a factor.

A hot, sunny day of 32C is forecast for Randwick.
