Race 2 No. 1: Duke Of Bronte
Boast solid provincial form as he prepares for his first ‘country’ start.

Race 5 No. 15: Jinsoku
Last seen in the Magic Millions Maiden. Trialling like he will take beating.
INSIDE MAIL - TAMWORTH
RACE 5
Enterprise Dancer had a rather dramatic start to her career with a ‘failed to finish’ on debut at Eagle Farm when $6 into $3.80 for O’Dea and Hoytsed. The daughter of Spill The Beans is with Kris Lees now and just couldn’t have trialled any better (twice). Box one helps. Red Spector is one of only 23 foals by Red Henno. This two-year-old is trained by Lou Mary and hasn’t been shown up in his trials. Looks to have something. Gigaton has Bullock onboard.
Bet: Enterprise Dancer to win, exacta 5 to beat 6
RACE 6
Broken Hill is a cleverly-named son of Mining Tycoon. The Lonhro gelding has had a few addresses in his 12 starts, Randwick, Rosehill and now Tamworth with Cody Morgan for whom he won the Jackal at Grafton and ran (unsuccessfully) in a Kosciuszko. Huge run against the bias at Scone first-up. Zakor loves this track and is rather underrated. The Dramatist is a Saturday metro-class horse who has raced here twice for a win and a second.
Bet: Broken Hill to win, Zakor each-way, box trifecta 3, 4, 11, 14

RACE 7
Satay Chicken has some finger lickin’ good numbers. He’s goes well fresh and likes this trip too but his record at home here is just superb. The icing on the cake was his trial at Scone behind Custo - wow. Christa is a Todd Howlett-trained mare who has won two from three and was fourth at the other. Has been trialling well herself and keep in mind that she beat Helcibell easily on debut. Stablemate Nyali Sands is fit and in form.
Bet: Satay Chicken to win, exacta 4 to beat 12
RACE 8
In Spades is a Justin Bowen-trained mare who raced 20 times for three wins and eight placings evenly split down the middle - seconds and thirds. She is first-up for a long while but she turned in a pretty good trial at Scone when passed late by Tanglewood. Zach Hatch-trained local Outta De Lady has a second and a third from three starts at this track and distance and on top of that, she is a last start (very easy) winner at Gunnedah with Aaron Bullock on as is the case again today. Hiraishin and Not Written Off are players.
Bet: In Spades to win, quinella 2, 4

Jinsoku is a dual acceptor on the day. The Joseph Ible trained son of Widden Stud sire Supido was last seen finishing 13th of 14 in the $250,000 Magic Millions Maiden on the Gold Coast. Best off to judge him on any or all of the previous four decent runs at Kembla (3) and Beaumont (1). Good Prize hasn’t drawn terribly well for an on-pacer but will come in a few with the scratchings. He certainly has the form to win. Same for Ken’Ker in the event he shows up. Keen to see what the market makes of Thread Fighter.
Bet: Jinsoku to win or if scratched Good Prize to win
RACE 6
Dupli Kate is owned, trained and was bred by Norm Garnder. She’s out his former very handy mare Atom Eve whose first foal is the talented Destructive Diva. For what it may be worth, this one is better in my opinion. She’s only had two three runs, one on the Black Opal and Opal Preview then that easy and impressive first-up win at Albury on June 7. Anthony Manton/Patriot Bloodstock-owned filly Reward With A Rose kicked off the new campaign with a win. Perfect race for her here.
Bet: Dupli Kate to win, exacta 9 to beat 8, Daily Double 1st Leg (9), 2nd Leg (9)
A great battle at Queanbeyan between Rangatira and Fire And Gemstone, with Rangatira the victor! pic.twitter.com/qui4aTP2p0

RACE 7
Rangatira is on the quick back-up having finished a close second at Goulburn as recently as June 21. That was the $320,000 yearling and subsequent $4,000 online purchase’s second consecutive second. All in all, he has been very consistent and it’s only a matter of time it seems. Fairness Is Best looks from every possible angle set to peak third-up. He is one for one at the track and distance and Jeff Penza rode him that day too. Peruno ran fourth in a very, very strong Class 2 at Goulburn last Friday.
Bet: Rangatira to win
RACE 8
King Gutho was every bit as good as the winner when runner-up at Wagga first-up on May 3. Trainer Joe Cleary gave the horse a trial at home at Queanbeyan on June 22 and while you’d expect the King to win, he looked terrific on the move. Drawn well there in the middle and Jess Taylor has a very good feel for him now. Huge watch on the market here regards No Drama whose form in Victoria is rather good but it’s the fact that he is having first run for Matthew Dale without a public trial that makes him so dangerous.
Bet: King Gutho to win
