Grid Girl has made a strong impression with two strong local runs. She was solid at Sandown last time and should be hard to beat again.

NEXT BEST

SUPERCONSTELLATION (Race 2 No.3 – $7)

Superconstellation improved from his debut effort with an impressive win on the Caulfield Heath track last time. Getting back to the bigger Pakenham track will suit.

MANTUA (Race 3 No.5 – $8)

Mantua was OK at The Valley first-up but showed he was ready to perform with a good jumpout at Cranbourne last Monday. He’ll be thereabouts.

VALUE BET

TOPSPIN (Race 4 No.6 – $9.50)

Jameka’s little sister ran on OK over 1600m on debut but should relish getting up to 2000m. Expecting significant improvement.
