Lloyd Kennewell is stunned his flying filly Invincible Woman is the $3m Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic favourite but says it could be the week that rules are broken.
No horse has won the 2YO Classic at just its second start and so the Kennewell and Lucy Yeomans-trained filly will have the weight of history against her.

There was no way Kennewell was expecting unbeaten Invincible Woman to be Magic Millions favourite, having had just one start when she scored the $250,000 Magic Millions Classic on the Caulfield Heath track last month.

• Magic Millions win would be just the tonic for sick owner
Former favourite Icarian Dream drifted from $4.50 to $8 after a horror draw.
Invincible Woman, with an all-female ownership group including racing broadcaster Lizzie Jelfs, drew barrier 9.
“There could be a lot of rules to be broken as I am not sure any horse has ever won the Magic Millions at its second start,” Kennewell said.
“We are happy with the draw, wanted to draw single figures so that was good.
“It is a very wide open Magic Millions and we are under no illusions it will be a very difficult race to win.
“The favourite tag doesn’t mean that much, but you would rather have that than have a $101 pop.
“We think we have got a genuine live chance in the race.
“She trialled terrific since she won well on debut.”
