BEST BET

CAPPER THIRTYNINE (Race 8 No. 1 - $5)

Capper Thirtynine fought hard to score at Wodonga and the form out of the race is strong. No reason he can’t win again.

NEXT BEST

MISS XTRAVAGANZA (Race 3 No. 8 - $3.20)

The Mitch Freedman-trained filly has shown talent in her two runs to date and stepping up to 1500m will be perfect.

PONTIFICATE (Race 7 No. 6 - $4.20)

Pontificate will be hard fit for three solid runs on this track and has drawn perfectly to break through this time.

VALUE BET

SCREAM (Race 5 No. 2 - $12)

Scream jumped out well before a fair first-up run at Ballarat. He’s unbeaten second-up and can improve sharply on Tuesday.

THE JOCKEY

JOHN ALLEN
