Little Jack relished 2000m when scoring at BM78 level last time out. This is no harder and the four-year-old can complete a winning hat trick.

Showed plenty of fight to score on debut at Pakenham in February. Had more time to develop and has jumped out impressively leading up to her return.

Small field to start the Caulfield meeting but MISS ROUMBINI (1) has finished off well to win her last two starts and is capable of settling closer. LOVAZOU (4) won well at Ballarat first-up and has jumped well since to be ready for this harder test. ROMANTIC CHOICE (5) is on trial at this trip but could control the race from the front. ENNA’S DREAM (2) hasn’t had much luck this time in and must be respected.
SUGGESTED BET: Miss Roumbini to win.

RACE 2: 12.35PM SPORTSBET FEED HANDICAP (1400m)
Plenty of chances here but EL ROCKO (7) is relishing the soft tracks in winter and should again have his chance from barrier one. SANDPAPER (4) was OK behind a smart type second-up and looks ready for 1400m. Import KINGSWOOD (5) has Group form in Ireland and trialled well at Casterton leading up to his local debut. HE’S BESET (11) has drawn wide but is racing well.
SUGGESTED BET: El Rocko each-way.

RACE 3: 1.10PM SPORTSBET JOCKEY WATCH HANDICAP (1100m)
Tough two-year-old race with so many first-starters engaged. KALIMNA VIEWS (3) has had more time mature since a fighting first-up win and has jumped out well leading up to this. TURBINADO (5) resumes after good jumpouts and scored first-up in soft ground last time in. ON DISPLAY (18) is another that has performed well at the jumpouts and was scratched from a race at Bendigo for this. LOAFER (4) will be fitter for a good first-up win.

RACE 4: 1.45PM SPORTSBET FAST FORM HANDICAP (2000m)
REZONE (3) is a maiden but has shown good staying promise and ran on well at his first 2000m test at Flemington. EYE FOR AN EYE (5) kept finding to score at Geelong second-up and the rise to 2000m will suit. PURE GRUNT (6) looks ready for the rise to 2000m after a good maiden win and has blinkers on. MATUSALEM (1) can improve on his second-up effort at Flemington.

RACE 5: 2.20PM SPORTSBET NOBODY DOES IT EASIER HANDICAP (2000m)
LITTLE JACK (10) is a progressive galloper that can build on his strong win over the Caulfield 2000m course last time out. MATRON BULLWINKEL (14) improved when getting up to 2000m at Caulfield and is hard fit for this. FIRE GLO TOO (13) drops in trip but is honest and will be strong late. DESPERADO (3) is unbeaten at Caulfield and should be around the mark again.

RACE 6: 3PM SPORTSBET SAME RACE MULTI HANDICAP (1700m)
Difficult race but NATION’S CALL (15) is a talented type that has won his last couple of starts and could continue to improve. CRACKERJACK PRINCE (10) has a tricky gate but is racing well enough to be considered here. FIRST MATE (18) is steadily improving and will be fitter again. TOBAYSURE (5) will be fitter for a promising first-up run.

RACE 7: 3.40PM SPORTSBET GET ON EXTRA HANDICAP (1100m)
MAJOR SHARE (6) is an exciting sprinter that scored comfortably at Bendigo second-up and could stay unbeaten despite stepping up in class. REVALENE (19) is on the fresh side after scoring at Swan Hill but is a developing type. GITALONG (1) chased well at Caulfield first-up and should enjoy another 100m. OAK HILL (3) was on the wrong side of the track at Flemington and is worth another chance.
SUGGESTED BET: Major Share to win.

RACE 8: 4.15PM GROUP 3 SPORTSBET SIR JOHN MONASH STAKES (1100m)
Interesting race despite the small field. RECOMMENDATION (2) is yet to miss a place first-up, handles all types of conditions and should have the perfect trail stalking the leaders. ASHFORD STREET (1) gets back to Caulfield after a fair Flemington run and has a fitness advantage here. MORNINGTON GLORY (3) resumes after a good Oakleigh Plate placing and should find this easier. MRS CHRISSIE (5) is racing well and worth including in exotics.

RACE 9: 4.48PM SPORTSBET RACE REPLAYS HANDICAP (1400m)
RHEINBERG (4) broke through for deserved win last time out and could go on with it here. ST LAWRENCE (8) wasn’t far away last time and is just about at peak fitness. CHORLTON LANE (6) was OK off a seven-week break last time so will be fitter. LAFARGUE (10) will be fitter for two runs back from a spell and can improve on softer ground.
