Herald Sun and Racenet form analyst Brad Waters looks at Thursday’s Pakenham meeting.
BEST BET
SACRED INGOT (Race 5 No.6 – $3.30)
Sacred Ingot has gone close at both runs to date and has drawn for the perfect run at Pakenham. He can finally break through.
NEXT BEST
NIGHT PEOPLE (Race 1 No.3 – $4.20)
Night People trialled well before an easy first-up win at Cranbourne. He can measure up to his harder assignment at Pakenham.
JUSTDOIT (Race 8 No.7 – $13)
Justdoit went to the spelling paddock a winner and has trialled well leading up to her return. She can show something fresh.
VALUE BET
QUEENSBURY (Race 3 No.10 – $14)
Queensbury is a big, strong youngster that showed good pace to win a Moe trial. He could be hard to run down if he takes that form to the races.
THE JOCKEY
DANIEL STACKHOUSE
Jockey Daniel Stackhouse has a book of seven rides at Pakenham. LOS ALAMOSS (Race 2 No.5 – $3.30), IGNAZIO (Race 3 No.4 – $18), GREENIDGE (Race 4 No.9 – $14), LOOMING ONE (Race 5 No.3 – $51), SAVEADATEFORME (Race 6 No.6 – $13), REAL ALLIANCE (Race 7 No.8 – $3), TORONLUCA (Race 8 No.10 – $5.50).
